A Fresh Chapter for Kingfield
Mainely Provisions has always been your locally owned, community‑focused grocery store. This fall we’re excited to announce a big change: our Kingfield market will now be supplied by Hannaford Supermarkets. For decades AGNE helped us serve our neighbors, and we’re deeply grateful for their support. This new chapter ensures we can continue offering the freshest products at fair prices while staying true to our Maine roots.
What to Expect During Transition
Reduced Inventory: Shelves may look lighter in the weeks leading up to the changeover as we prepare to bring in new products.
Temporary Closure: The Kingfield store will close after business on October 13 and remain closed October 14 – 22 so we can switch suppliers and refresh the space.
Mainely Convenience Stays Open: Our convenience store next door will be open daily from 5 am to 8 pm during the closure, fully stocked with grocery essentials.
Upgrades & Improvements: We’ll take this opportunity to install new floors and shelving and improve our parking lot and curb appeal.
Grand Reopening: Join us October 23 – 26 for a celebratory reopening weekend featuring new offerings, a wider selection, and special in‑store promotions.
